How does the 7-day free trial work?
When you first subscribe (either tier), Apple gives you 7 days of free access. Your card is not charged during those 7 days. On day 8, Apple charges the tier's monthly price ($1.99 for Slap Post, $5.99 for Plus) and you continue on a normal monthly subscription. If you cancel any time before day 8, you are not charged. Trials are per-Subscription-Group — switching between Slap Post and Slap Post Plus during your trial doesn't restart it.
How do I cancel my subscription (or trial)?
Open iOS Settings → [Your Apple ID] → Subscriptions → Slap Post → Cancel Subscription. Apple handles all billing — cancellation during the trial means no charge ever. Cancellation after the trial takes effect at the end of the current paid period; we don't have access to issue refunds for App Store charges.
Why doesn't Slap Post let me post tweets with links?
X charges its API 13× more for posts containing URLs ($0.20 vs $0.015 per post). Passing that on would mean a $9.99/month subscription. We chose a focused $1.99 tool instead. The X algorithm also suppresses tweets with external links, so this is usually a win for your reach too.
What happens to my scheduled posts if I cancel?
They remain in your queue until the end of your billing period and fire normally during that window. After your subscription expires, pending posts won't fire. You can re-subscribe at any time to resume.
Can I post threads?
Not in v1. Slap Post fires single text-only posts. Threads are on the roadmap for a future release.
How do I disconnect my X account?
In-app: Settings → X Connection → Disconnect X. This immediately revokes the OAuth refresh token on X's side and deletes the encrypted token from our server. Your scheduled posts won't fire until you reconnect.
How do I delete my account?
In-app: Settings → Delete Account. Type DELETE to confirm. This permanently removes your account, scheduled posts queue, and X tokens within 24 hours. It does not cancel your Apple subscription — manage that separately in iOS Settings (see above).
