How does the 7-day free trial work?
When you first subscribe (either plan), Apple gives you 7 days of free access. Your card is not charged during those 7 days. On day 8, Apple charges your plan's price — $29/mo on monthly (iOS or web), or $9/wk on weekly (iOS only) — and you continue on a normal subscription. If you cancel any time before day 8, you are not charged. Trials are per-Subscription-Group — switching between weekly and monthly during your trial doesn't restart it.
How do I cancel my subscription (or trial)?
Subscribed on iPhone: open iOS Settings → [Your Apple ID] → Subscriptions → Slap Post → Cancel Subscription. Apple handles all billing — cancellation during the trial means no charge ever. Cancellation after the trial takes effect at the end of the current paid period; we don't have access to issue refunds for App Store charges.
Subscribed on the web: open the web app at slappost.app and go to Account → Manage subscription — that opens the secure billing portal of Creem, our payment processor, where you can cancel or update your card. Cancellation stops future charges and your access runs to the end of the period you paid for.
Why doesn't Slap Post let me post tweets with links?
X charges its API 13× more for posts containing URLs ($0.20 vs $0.015 per post) — a cost that would have to land on your subscription price. The X algorithm also suppresses tweets with external links, so skipping links is usually a win for your reach too.
What happens to my scheduled posts if I cancel?
They remain in your queue until the end of your billing period and fire normally during that window. After your subscription expires, pending posts won't fire. You can re-subscribe at any time to resume.
Can I post threads or media?
Yes. Slap Post schedules single posts, full threads (up to 10 tweets), and posts with images or video.
How do I disconnect my X account?
In-app: Settings → X Connection → Disconnect X. This immediately revokes the OAuth refresh token on X's side and deletes the encrypted token from our server. Your scheduled posts won't fire until you reconnect.
How do I delete my account?
In-app: Settings → Delete Account. Type DELETE to confirm. This permanently removes your account, scheduled posts queue, and X tokens within 24 hours. It does not cancel your Apple subscription — manage that separately in iOS Settings (see above).
